Why should i set up a project?
You might ask why you should bother creating a project when the Research Cloud already provides so much data just by entering a domain. The answer is simple. The Research Cloud is well suited for analyzing general nationwide performance, but a project is indispensable for in-depth analyses.
Advantages of a project:
- Creating an individual keyword set to exclude irrelevant keywords and only include the keywords that are important to you.
- Add the desired search engines (national or local) to be able to evaluate local and mobile data as well.

Determination of the tracking frequency to update the data at the desired time.

Keyword Tagging, to break down performances to individual market segments or products.

Add Benchmarks, for more extensive competition analyses.
- Some exclusive analyses such as Keyword Details (opens when you click on a keyword in a table), extensive market analyses (Search Experience > Market Analysis)
Can i create several projects?
Sure! It can make sense to create several projects. Especially if your company is represented globally and the domains differ in the countries (e.g. endings: ".de", ".com", ".fr" etc.). You can create as many projects as you want.
