The information displayed in dashboards will change over time as the data changes in the data source, but there will be scenarios where you can benefit from sharing a snapshot of the data at that specific moment in time. For instance, to highlight an unexpected value that may provide some business insight and requires attention right away.
In order to access the export feature, select the overflow button in the top right-hand corner and click Export.
Export Format
Dashboards can be exported in a number of different formats.

Export Image - export a screen capture of the entire dashboard or individual visualizations.
-
Export PowerPoint - export your dashboard as a PowerPoint presentation.
-
Export PDF - export your dashboard as a PDF document.
-
Export Excel - you can export the data used for your dashboards to the Excel format and choose if you want to also export the visualization to your spreadsheet.
Exporting Dashboards as PDF Documents
Analytics allows you to export your dashboard as a PDF document. Every visualization that is part of this dashboard will be displayed on a separate page of the document.
To export a dashboard as a PDF document, go to dashboard View mode and select: the overflow menu ⇒ Export ⇒ PDF. The Export Dashboard menu will open, allowing you to edit your document and annotate specific pages, so that you can tailor it to your needs.
Export Settings
In the Export Dashboard menu you can manage the following settings:

Change the main title of your PDF document. The default title is your dashboard's title.

Change the page's title and add a subtitle in the Enter Title text box (the second box). The default slide's title is the title of the visualization displayed on the page.

Manage Branding settings options allows you to choose:

Author's and their Company's name - displayed in the header panel of the document's pages;

company's logo displayed in the footer and color (the main color of the pdf document) - here you can choose one of the following options:

Searchmetrics

User's organization/workspace - your organization and all of your workspaces having their branding (logo and color) set up are displayed as options.

Custom - select a color and upload a logo image of your choice.

Requirements for logo images. The image you upload for a logo must be no bigger than 5 MB and one of the following formats: jpg, jpeg, png, gif.
4. Choose between Landscape and Portrait document orientation.
5. You can manage your document pages by selecting a page from the list to modify its title, annotate or delete it (by removing the tick icon in the upper right corner).
6. Annotate the selected page by clicking/tapping the pencil icon.
Exporting Dashboards as Images
Analytics allows you to export a screen capture of your entire dashboard or individual visualizations from your dashboard. The files delivered are in the .png format.
Exporting an Entire Dashboard as an Image
To export an image of your entire dashboard:

Go to the overflow menu in the upper right-hand corner of the dashboard.

Select Export ⇒ Image.

In the Export Image menu, choose the Export Image blue button.
You can choose the Copy to clipboard option to paste the image quickly wherever you need without downloading it first.
Exporting Individual Visualizations as Images
To export an image of a particular visualization:

In dashboard View mode maximize the selected visualization by clicking the arrow in its upper right-hand corner.

Select Export in the overflow menu.

Select the Export Image option.
Annotating Images
You can add annotations to your dashboards in case you want to include notes or highlight specific areas with different shapes. To access the annotation section, select the pencil icon in the Export Image menu.
In the Annotation menu, you will see a many options such as adding shapes and freestyle annotations. The text option allows you to add text on top of the image. It provides options to customize the text, such as background colors, font weight, font size, and font color.
Exporting Dashboards as PowerPoint Presentations
Analytics allows you to export your dashboard as a PowerPoint presentation. Every visualization that is part of this dashboard will be displayed on a separate slide of the presentation.
All the elements of the presentation are editable so that you can tailor it to your needs.
To export a dashboard as a PowerPoint presentation, go to dashboard View mode and select: the overflow menu ⇒ Export ⇒ PowerPoint. The Export Dashboard menu will open, allowing you to set up your presentation and annotate specific slides.

Exporting Excel
Analytics allows you to export the data used for your dashboards to the Excel format. Data for every visualization in, your dashboard will be on a separate sheet in the excel file.
NOTE
Export to Excel limitations. You can export to Excel only dashboards using table data, i.e. data sources organizing information into rows and columns (spreadsheets, CSV files, databases). If your dashboard uses images, html, etc. to visualize data, Analytics will not be able to export the information in the Excel format.
To export a dashboard as an Excel spreadsheet, go to Dashboard View mode and select: the overflow menu ⇒ Export ⇒ Excel. The following menu will open:
This Export Dashboard menu allows you to select and rename the data sheets to be included in your Excel file. Every data sheet contains the data for a particular visualization in the dashboard you export. You can also include the visualizations in your Excel document.
The Include Visualization setting gives you the following options:

Include - include a dashboard's visualization on the same sheet as the data for this visualization;

On Different Sheets - include visualizations and their corresponding data on separate sheets;

Don't Include - include only the visualizations' data in the Excel sheets.
Supported visualizations. The following chart visualizations can be directly included in the Excel sheets: Column, Line, Bar, Area, StackedColumn, StackedArea, StackedBar, Pie, Doughnut, Funnel, Composite, Scatter, Bubble, Sparklines.
The following visualizations are converted to similar types before being included in the Excel sheet: Spline and StepLine ⇒ Line; SplineArea and StepArea ⇒ Area.
