Searchmetrics Page Strength (SPS) is a KPI developed by Searchmetrics. As with Google Pagerank, the quality and number of backlinks to links from domains are included in the calculation, which is indicated on a scale from 0 to 10, where 0 is the lowest and 10 is the highest value that can be achieved.
It is important to know that not all the links have the same weight. In an SEO campaign, both link volume and link strength are very important in order to ultimately optimize for a good SPS. Basically, the more links link to the page, the more important it is and how important those linking pages are, i.e. how high-quality are the pages from which the links come.
SPS value in the Searchmetrics Suite
All crawled URLs can be analyzed in the Site Experience on the SPS. SPS can be added as an attribute to every Site Experience table.
CheiRank can be viewed as an analogue of SPS, which shows the strength of a page in terms of outbound pages.
